 Bernette Forde is a noted author from Bermuda, originally hailing from Paget, a scenic island located in the Atlantic Ocean. She is the youngest of eleven siblings, born to Ivy and Author Tucker, and shares her status as the lastborn with her twin sister, Lunette Pacheco. Bernette's life has been significantly influenced by her experiences battling cancer for the third time, an issue she addresses directly in her autobiography, *Reasons*. She is an avid Science Fiction writer, with a portfolio that includes notable novels such as *Floaters* and *Chuman*. Among her most valued works is the Nephilim Series, a trilogy consisting of *Seventh Angel*, *Karen's Legacy*, and *Aza's Revenge*.

Additionally, her novel *Black Watch Pass* holds significance for her, as it encapsulates her profound affection for her home island. Bernette has leaned towards true crime of the 18th and 19th centuries. Currently, Bernette resides in Coventry, England, with her family, including her husband, two children, and four grandchildren.
